The Inequality Enhancing Policy Is Not Changing for White Home Buyers

In one condition, there's a disparity being corrected between, say, latino and white home buyers. In the next study, they randomly assigned participants to see either an inter group or in group equality enhancing policy. They found that despite the fact that all three policies said that access to mortgages for white home buyers would not change explicitly, people still perceived them as harmful. These perceptions seem to be driven by this inner group competition type thing.
