The Dangers of Making Harmful Assumptions

There's a lot of potential for doing better and designing safety into the very technologies that we use. We just don't think too much about their lives and their interpersonal relationships because we haven't ever been taught to. So I think the big assumption is that people aren't trying to find ways to use our products for harm, which is an assumption and it's definitely not true.
