The Plural Technology Collaboratory, Getting Plurality
The Plural Technology Collaboratory is a new special project at Microsoft Research. It brings together people throughout Microsoft Research, throughout the rest of Microsoft and a number of partners including in Yale's group at Harvard,. folks at MIT, Berkeley, on ventures and others. A core group of us have been working over the last nine months on this paper that we're also releasing today, the Decentralized Social Technologies paper and the ethics for DSTs. And it really takes people from all disciplines, philosophy, political science, economics, as well as technologists to face the hard questions we've got right now.
