The Captain's Resignation From US-Bengla Airlines
The captain had a history of depression. He was removed from active duty in the Bangladesh Air Force after evaluation by psychiatrist. In 2002, after another evaluation, he was deemed fit to fly and never showed any more symptoms during his time with US-Bengla airlines. The cockpit voice recorder revealed that he started smoking in the cockpit because of this.
