I Don't Want to End My Public Speaking Career Right There

I was at Needle, and then I used to hang out on Reddit. They had posted a job description for Reddit in the Salt Lake City subreddit. And so eventually I got a message from Reddit saying like, Hey, you're a JavaScript developer,. Would you like to come work for us? So I went and interviewed with them; they were paying me significantly more than Needle. When I applied again when I applied to Netflix, it's very obvious that this was a massive mistake.
