Saddam Hussein's Trial Began in the Fall of 2005

Saddam Hussein finally went on trial from the start. He was convicted in November of 2006 and found guilty six weeks later, he was hung to death. The US would later claim that they actually had nothing to do with the planning of the execution. It produced perhaps the most famous viral video of the Iraq war.
