The Importance of Handheld Radios
The entry level radios would be what these handheld type of things I'm talking about FRS thing you go to Walmart yeah well let's be clear on the handheld so some of the terminology was in keep everybody clear yes ham radio ham is actually just a slang term for amateur radio. The radios you're going to purchase from Walmart or REI or sporting good store is are going to have the pre-programmed channels in them generally and one of the big rules is to is the antennas not removable that's what makes them legal by law to transmit.
