The Benefits of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival
The timing of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival is that It happens sort of either just before or sometimes I think during voting for the final round of the Oscars. You make a point of scouting out People to honor during the festival who yes Independently are really great, but who also are likely to be nominated For an Oscar so that they have an extra incentive to come to Santa Barbara where there are quite a few Academy members. The latest is close to 200 Academy members and there are people that are regulars of yours like Christopher Lloyd and D. Davis.
