Parking in the Driveway
A couple in San Francisco received a $1,542 fine for parking on their own property. They were also threatened with a $250 per day fee if they didn't get the car out of the driveway. Bob Greene: Someone dug through the code and decided he could get his neighbors good by doing this. Nobody will ever say who it was, but he's actually one of those tiny men that will use the force of government to screw over his fellow citizens.
