Sally Kohn: There's a piece of me that wants to just talk about when and why it might be valuable to work for other people for a while. And then I think the question of do you need to make your living doing the thing you like to spend your time doing necessarily? Or to what degree is that a necessary condition for happiness? She says she grew up as the child of an entrepreneur but was never really all that good of fit in a corporate environment. "I can totally relate to the idea of it was just clear to her that she wanted to be working for herself, not for somebody else," Kohn says.
