Introduction
Antony: Football starts in August this year. We just take for granted that you walk into a store like this and whatever kind of food you want, generally speaking is going to be there. This is an incredibly complex problem of getting food from farms to grocery distributors, to grocery stores. Why is it we, the people, the market pulls this off with such skill? Antony: It's very rare that you walked into a store anywhere, expensive, inexpensive, and find empty shelves. But nonetheless, I passed by all of these and it got me thinking about the fact that people don't appreciate the complexity involved in maintaining food stocks.
