Ase: I think what's really fascinating to me about hida spaces that elephants do seem to be used properly in that battle. They're accompanied by infantry they're trying to the use to attack on the flanks. But i think, like you said, what really decided the day was the macedonian heavy infantry. Ase: If both sides had roughly similar infantry, would you rather be on the side with the war elephants or the side without the war elephants? And me, it's pretty clear thisis the same for me ase. The idea of developing symmetric capabilities is going to be a consistent theme throughout this portcast.
