Van Go's Early Paintings

Van Go's brother encouraged him to become an artist himself. He studied drawing at brussels academy, though he left after a short time. In 18 82, van go made jump to oil paints, moving in 18 83 to a quiet netherlands village where he could paint landscapes. And one of the more famous works from this period is called the potato eaters.
