Rhodiola and Insulin Injections in Mice
Rhodiola treatments lowered fasting blood glucose levels and favored their response to insulin injections. In those mice, rhodiola also changed and modulated the microbiome. And I mentioned the inflammatory markers and something else that we observed was that rhodiola decreased their levels of inflammation in these mice. But was that the intrinsic effect of rhodiola or the extrinsic effect of lowering blood sugar and making insulin receptors more sensitive? So that's a very good question and I won't be able to answer it with a yes or no because we didn't test that correlation.
