Doone is the only wide release, block bustor movie that i feel like has any clout in the race this year. Belfast is kenneth rona's eighteenth feature film as a director. It's told from the perspective of nine year old buddy who lives with ma pa, grannie and pop in northern ireland in 19 69. I saw this movie at telouride it is a very sweet personal reflection.
