LZ: I found the book just super helpful in bringing these different lenses side by side. What encouragement would you give to pastors around this issue of interpreting your world and how to be shepherds? LZ: To engage in theology and culture is not to start a new conversation, but to enter into a conversation that is already going on. The second thing is just a sense of growing in the skill of discerning theology from culture and then developing theology for culture.
