How Hope's Alleged Assailant Denied Her Claims
Hope's boss made her feel uncomfortable because his bedroom was right next to hers. She heard him and other top officers on the ship getting quite boisterous. They pressured her to take shot after shot of alcohol, something she had never done before. When she ended up extremely intoxicated, that is when she said he raped her.
