Gary Gensler: We're moving from gold bars and, you know, in cash in physical person to digital money. He says there's the gaping hole that the current fiat system is creating for better or worse choices by the money managers of the world. The fact that boomers and other people so quickly were able to hear the word metaverse, understand what it meant, and then start making jokes about it tells me that there was a deep, unsatiated, latent demand for having a way to talk about this idea of digital worlds," he said.
