Do You Have Difficult Conversations at Home?
I am capable of having a really difficult conversation with just about anybody who isn't immediately related to me. As soon as I am in that conversation with my 14 or 16 year old or my husband or, you know, my parents or sister. All of my training goes right out the window and I have to really, really, really try hard to engage in the conversation in a more productive way. "With age and wisdom hopefully comes at least a little bit better job at practicing what I preach," she says.
