The Problem With Dragonlance Novels

The magic system is completely different. Like there's three polarities. The success of dragonlance spawns the development of this huge publishing arm that TSR gets addicted to. When it starts to get shaky, they just keep putting more and more books out hoping to make it up. But that doesn't work. All they did was saturate the market and then they started getting hit with really big returns. They weren't operating on the scale that they could absorb that kind of loss. So that's the one thing that's the problem. They were hugely popular and it wound up destroying the company. Yes, I can 100% see that.
