California has a lot of hills and in certain neighborhoods, you can find outdoor stairs. The large number of often hidden public staircases is one of the major reasons why the Bay Area is so great. "I go out of my way every single day to walk the two blocks worth of stairs by my new place in the Berkeley Hills," says producer Sam Greenspan.
