Is There a Difference Between MCs and Ultra Magnetics?

Paul McCartney once said that A.O.I.E. was his least favorite album because he felt like they had gotten too far away from the values and aesthetic of black people. One thing I still think about a lot is how music is made now, it's just so different to what happened then. The way MCs were bringing in records for the producers to sample sounds amazing when you look at them as children.
