Is There a New Situation in Ladakh?
The old confidence building measure system was completely shattered by the 2020 incidents. The Indians have now authorized their forces to use the guns in their self-defense. So what I'm trying to say, there's a completely different situation there. But with the no patrol zones there, you have a kind of a tentative new method of maintaining peace and tranquility on the line of actual control. It eventually boils down to intentions. If you intend to create problems, then whether it's a no patrol zone or not doesn't make much of a difference.
