The Suppression of Hereditary Rights in the National Assembly

The suppression of hereditary privilege kindo came at a nowhere. During an evening session of the national assembly. A delegate, apparently on his own initiative, moved that hereditary titles should be abolished. Conservative nobles were aghast. They had already given up all their feudal rights and now they were barred from the few remaining social trinkets. This would mark the beginning of a steady wave of emigration.
