M, i feel like one of my limits as a writer is that i'm worried of boring the reader all the time. So i can't sort of allow myself to describe physical environments in great detail. Or to talk about things that don't really matter to the plot. As a set designer, i am a minimalist. And i do find sofas, beds and stuff make huge appearances. But most of the time, no.
