The Life of J.R.R Tolkien

Tolkien was born in the orange free state, now of course the E.E. free state. His parents were from Birmingham but had moved there for work. Tolkien's mum converted to Catholicism and brought him up in that faith. He also learnt Old English, Middle English, Old Norse and Gothic. And he started making up his own languages like Nabosh and Nafarin.
