I'm surprised by how slow progress has been, not on the technology side, but on getting the autonomous vehicles on the road at scale. There's definitely benefits to self-driving cars, but I think the fear runs very deep and there's also a lot of entrenched interests. If we just put really half-baked prototype of a piece of software out into the world, usually people don't get harmed. But if you put out a robot car into the world,. you have to be really conscious that it's safe enough. The other aspect is parking.
