DFA alpha-1: A non-invasive, cheap option for estimating the aerobic threshold with Bruce Rogers, MD | EP#329

That Triathlon Show

CHAPTER

Introduction

Dr. Bruce Rogers has done a lot of research on assessing the aerobic threshold or first lactate or ventilator threshold, whatever you want to call it. The HRV-based marker DFA alpha one can be measured non-invasively and for free or very cheaply. Hydration strategies should be individualized and fueling strategies will also need to be adapted based primarily on the duration and intensity of exercise or competition. ROCA produced exceptional quality triathlon wetsuits, trisuits, goggles, performance sunglasses as well as prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses.
