Can You Stand the Cold?
In the early 1900s, it was popular for British people to take a cold water bath just once a week. It was believed to be beneficial for health and well-being. In the 17th century, British people would add herbs,. oils and fragrances to the bath water to make it smell nicer. These days, I do try and take a cold shower. If I'm feeling well, I will often try to make my shower cold at the end of my washing. And in fact, I used to share bath water with my family when I was younger. But as a child, this is something I did too.
