There's two main kinds of stimulants. There's the amphetamines, Adderall, Vivence, etc. And there's the methylphenidate class, Ritalin, Concerta, Focalin. They are somewhat different chemically. Nobody has a test to know whether you do best on class A or B or B or A. So be a scientist there. Make sure you've got the right dose and the right kind of medication. But in terms of other treatments for kids, kids with ADHD don't do very well going into a therapist's office and sitting down and analyzing their dreams or analyze their play.
