behavior is always a study of one and i cannot make the blanket statement that all dogs need aflesh exercise. So for instance, if you have a young dog that is very frantic on their fleesh walks, they never stop moving. If your border collies are intermittently sprinting and then trotting, that might be totally normal for them. You have to look at the other behaviors at play. And if you're worried, then change it for a little while.
