The Supreme Court's Decision to Allow Local Governments to Execute Tax Laws

I feel like I've done what's weird about this case is I've spent a whole lot of time and effort defending a position that I don't actually think is right. And the Supreme Court is about to have it has it both ways. That should be the thing that really pisses people off. It's like, oh, yeah, the 1600s are super relevant when you're trying to take away my rights. But if you have want to let local governments execute their own tax laws, oh, easy there, cowboy.
