i just want tom hear a little reading from brooklyn. You did this for he bis club and er, because this, i think, gets that tone. She was nobody here. It was as though she had been locked away. There's a very strong sense of homesickness there. But your first book, the south, was set in spain, and you left ireland. Not the first writer to leave ireland in order to be able to write. But you left. And so it is a feeling of release, a that and a feeling,. i mean, you were talking just before about that kind of abiding sadness.
