There's really no one else where you would start the possession with them defending the other team's point guard. Scotty Pippen was strong enough not to be completely overpowered and his post denial defense was from another planet. I think that combined with the fact that there are just obviously playoff series where he's like, go guard the point guard and completely make it impossible for him,. but also guard anyone else in any other position.
