The Use Case for Time Series Databases
The key on the time series database is going to be timestamps. So you can traverse your data by time. Over time they will then start compacting the data and creating aggregates around that granular data. And so the use case for time series databases is like event logging. They're really good for what can get it very important to see and then seeing like aggregates over time and a very performant manner.
