Japan's Economy Benefits From a Weaker Yen
Japan imports so much of its energy, and it has to do so using the dollar is a currency. In addition to that, japan obviously can't have its newc power plants running nowso it's a sort of double wammy situation for for Japans. People coming to Japan had more spending power when the yen was weaker. The number of tourists went up by about 500% pre pandemic.
