What Is the Role of the Medical Professional?

Parents are asked to take on so much in getting an eiht h g diagnosis. It's a different diagnostic process than so many other medical situations. At no point is the parent asked to assess, is the broan bogen? Is nt x ray needed? Should we put on a cast? How long should the cast be on? How much physical therapy should be needed? The parent is not really the medical expert. Parent is not really even on the medical team. And that part is hard. i have two children myself.
