The matrix is a mass control system. It's keeping people ignorant of the real nature of man. We won't fight who the controllers, right? In the matrix, it's machines. But of course in our world, it's actually we might call them the world controllers like Brave New World. The powerful control us mostly with mind control with lies and propaganda and illusion. That is how we are all controlled.
