The Self Is Indefinable
Buddhist teachings remind us to look at anything that we might identify with as being the self and say, this is not me. And where does that leave you? I mean, when you've let go of your body and recognize that that's not you, it's not the basis for the kind of you which is separate and apparent. You can't really even point to where yourself is. It's not a thing. It's just continually changing all the time. It's really totally undefinable. We are neither inside us nor outside us, you know, totally.
