I think there were three lies. I think if you get intelligence that you know it's hesitant and qualified, and you describe it as extensive, detailed, and authoritative, I don't know what that is if it's not a lie. If you tell everybody that the French position on the UN Security Council is that they will rule out support for war in any event when the position of France is that they rule out war for as long as Iraq is cooperating with weapons inspectors,. Then again, you're into the moral territory of lying. And I suppose that's why I still feel so sore about it.
