How to Receive the Father's Love

The father's expressions of love can come to you, but they don't stick. They just kind of slide off. Nothing sticks on teflon. And until I unpack the stuff in my suitcase, I can't break through the teflon nature of shame. The thing about shame is it will often keep you from receiving help. But you need to know shame grows in an atmosphere of silence and secrecy and judgment. So get help, unpack the suitcase, remove the barriers and then go after the love of the father.
