Claudia Benzo-Krey is a professor of communication studies and sociology at Northwestern University. Her new book, The Perfect Fit, Caved Work in the Global Shoe Industry was based on five-year ethnographic research about fashion, creativity and globalization. It follows to how Shoe is imagined, a sketch designed, developed and produced in between the US, Europe, Brazil and China. Philip Jimfong: Why shoes?
