Without an upfront commitment internally, I really have no standing to give you a more aggressive discount. There's limits to what I can do from an ethical standpoint. It's not fair if somebody's a better negotiator for them to get better salary than somebody else. And at the end of the day, you have internal consistency that you have to factor in.
