Jeffrey Elzevo: I've had a number of patients who have had surprisingly high coronary calcium scores and are asymptomatic. Their cardiologists had declined to do... CCTAs because of the difficulty in interpreting, excuse me, a clearly a CCTA with that high of a coronary calcium. What are the ranges that we should be thinking about in regards to coronary calcium scores or that is prohibitive to do a CTA? Dr. McCoy: If you have a calcium score, previously a thousand is a reasonable place to do it. And I've encouraged my ordering doctors to push for the CCA.
