"I enjoy solitude for sure, but also, you know, you got to figure it out," she says of her upbringing. "My grandmother was a scientist and there's obviously a lot of, she was a cancer research researcher." Her parents never pushed their children into careers they didn't feel like they could do well at. She is interested in how stereotypes around immigrant parents affect young people today.
