Pragosian's Leaked Intelligence
According to leaked intelligence, Pragosian said he would provide Ukraine with information on Russian troop positions. The idea here was that you pull back your forces, I'll give you information on where the Russians are so you Ukraine can go attack them. If that is a legitimate offer Pragosian made, I think the Kremlin would view that not as a kind of normal communication with their adversary but as treasonous.
