The Importance of Meditation for Longevity
I think there are three metrics. There's the physical side of that. Are you free from pain? Do you have good memory, processing speed, executive function? And I think the arguably the most important but the least easy one to quantify is the emotional health piece. Having a high quality of life, having a good emotional life is essential for longevity. How much of all this is determined by genetics ahead of time? Not many.
