There's lots to be optimistic about hydrogen actually. The federal government put like hundreds of billions of dollars towards this because it's not just the tax credit. So there's a lot of money flowing into hydrogen right now. We need to scale up hydrogen really rapidly.
The EPA has just announced new rules for power plants to clean up their act. But to get to those lower limits, companies might have to switch to two largely untested technologies in the power sector: hydrogen production and carbon capture.
