The spectrum of the cosmic wike wave background is almost a perfect black body, says Dom. But there could be foregrounds that mess it up such as exploding stars or other energetic things happening in the early universe. Some day we'll find a deviation from it, but not yet. Do you think physics can ever be finished? Ah, depends on what you mean by finished. I do think that we can find the fundamental laws of nature. There's a way the universe works, and we can find it. And maybe we won't - i don't say we will, but i think that they're there.
