Anda grew up in new hampshire, his dad was a chemistry professor. He studied ancient Near Eastern studies at university pennsylvania. After he completed his ph d and did some work on his dissertation, he came back to b yu as a visiting professor. Was offered the position of religious education lecturer after being invited by department chair steve robinson. Has been here for seven years; just retired last year.
